Congratulations to Issy Heppenstall, our Head Physio and husband Pete, (sometime Extra A player) on the arrival of baby, Olivia Noelle (pictured below), who weighed in at a healthy 7lbs last Thursday – all are reported well. More happy tidings. Adam Kelly, our erstwhile prop forward, now mostly retired, has informed me that baby Vern was born yesterday weighing in at a healthy (and not insubstantial) 10lbs. Mother, father and son all well. To quote Vern Sr - "I fear his chances of playing in the backs are already looking unlikely but then, why would you want to?!"
