Have your say
- Image of the Game
It has been a difficult summer
for the reputation of rugby for various reasons. A series of
high profile disciplinary cases have led to negative media
coverage some of which has suggested that issues such as
these are widespread in the game. At the RFU we do not
believe that is the case but we have a duty to ensure that
we are in a position to make that clear and to rebuild the
game’s reputation. We have set up the Image of the Game Task
Group, which I am honoured to chair, and one of our first
priorities was to ask all of you in the game to give us your
views.
This survey is your opportunity
to let us know what you think about these issues, whether
you are seeing them in rugby as you know it, what you think
about the issues that have been in the media, and how you
think those might be addressed. Your feedback on this is
vital to enable us to get a real understanding and I would
urge you to complete the survey if you are able. Please
remember that completing the survey and proving none of
these things are an issue is far more valuable to us than
not completing it at all. Click
here to go through and start taking the
survey.
The survey is open from
Saturday 12th September through to close of play on Sunday
27th September although we will be starting analysis of your
responses from Monday 21st September so if you were able to
submit your thoughts before then it really would be much
appreciated.
