Jonny
sends us his support for the Big Field Appeal
'Sport,
and in particular rugby, has always played a major
part in my life. I have been lucky to enjoy the
benefits of some great facilities throughout my
childhood in Surrey both at school and within the
community.
Encouraging people of all age groups to become
involved in any sporting activity to match their
capabilities is something very important to me. I
believe the quality of care we give to our bodies is
reflected almost perfectly in the quality of our
life situations. Better and more accessible
facilities will inevitably make it easier for
everyone to experience what I know to be a lasting
truth; engaging ourselves in a worthy pursuit like
self improvement and helping others will never be
something we later regret.
The
proposed facilities for the new Dorking Rugby
Football Club will make it a central part of a large
and ever growing community where people from all
walks of life can come and enjoy a positive,
rewarding experience in both business and leisure.
I wish
all those involved in this tremendous project my
total support and have no doubt that the finished
product will provide an excellent platform for the
future of the area.'
