Fundraising Latest... |
|
 We
have received or have been promised £115,000 towards the Appeal.
A range of further fundraising activities have started -
particularly amongst the Youth age groups.
The U12s are
running an 'Iron Dad' competition at which they intend to raise
£10,000 - just 20 lengths of the pool, a cycle from pool to club
and then 4 laps of the field
to negotiate. Handicapped for the fat boys!

extraordinary milestone will be passed at Dorking RFC at the
end of this season, when Alan Clatworthy steps down after 45
years as President. Ted Ivens has penned a tribute on behalf

Mixed Social Touch Rugby
Wednesday Nights 7:30pm - 9:00pm
On the night we divide into 4 teams and play against each
other, each game lasting 20 minutes…..but don’t let that put
you off if you are a beginner…we have players of all
abilities…it’s about having fun and it’s free!
And afterwards we retire the Club bar for some extra cold
fizzy drinks…
Touch Rugby or
TOUCH, is a minimal contact sport that is played
worldwide by men, women and children of all ages. The game
emphasizes running, agility and ball handling skills such as
passing and catching.
Looking something similar to Rugby, without the tackling,
scrumming and kicking and the like the aim of the game is to
score tries. Played on a flat surface, half the size of a
conventional sports field, Touch Rugby is….

A good Season.... |
|
We
can look back with some satisfaction at 2007/8...our first
season back in London 2 and a creditable 5th place...the A and
Ex A XVs finishing high up in their Merit tables....a number of
the Under 18s stepped up to represent all the Senior sides...and
the Derelicts have, it is thought, returned in one piece from
their Tour to the South West. League tables can be found
